Privacy Policy
Effective July 10, 2026
USF BIOS is a GPU fine-tuning platform operated by USF Inc and available at usfbios.com. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the platform, why we collect it, where it lives, and how to get it deleted. We tried to write it the way we would want to read it: short sections, plain language, no surprises.
Data we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, and profile details. You can sign in with Google OAuth or with an email and password. If you use Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. If you use a password, we store only a salted hash of it, never the password itself.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep records of your wallet credits, top-ups, and per-second usage charges so we can show you an accurate billing history.
- Your content. The datasets you upload and the model artifacts your training jobs produce, such as checkpoints and fine-tuned weights. This content belongs to you.
- Usage and technical data. Training job configurations, job status and logs, API requests, and standard server logs such as IP address and browser type. We use these to run the service, meter billing, and debug problems.
- Support messages. Anything you send us through the contact form or support tickets, so we can answer you and keep a record of the conversation.
How we use it
- To run your training jobs on dedicated GPU pods and store the results.
- To meter GPU usage per second and charge it against your prepaid wallet credits.
- To operate your account and organization, including team invites you send.
- To send transactional email, such as job completion notices, receipts, and password resets.
- To answer support requests and investigate reported problems.
- To keep the platform secure, for example detecting abuse or unauthorized access.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your datasets or trained models to train anything of our own, and we do not show ads.
Storage and retention
Datasets and model artifacts are stored encrypted in cloud object storage. Training runs execute on dedicated GPU pods that are provisioned for your job and torn down when it finishes. We keep your content for as long as your account is active or until you delete it from your workspace. Billing records are kept longer because tax and accounting rules require it.
Deletion on request
You can delete datasets, models, and other content from your workspace at any time. If you want your entire account removed, contact us through the contact page and we will delete your account and associated content, keeping only what we are legally required to retain, such as invoices.
Subprocessors
We use a small number of service providers to run the platform. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Stripe for payment processing.
- Cloud and GPU infrastructure providers for object storage and the GPU pods that run training jobs.
- Email delivery providers for transactional email such as receipts and notifications.
Security
Your content is encrypted in transit and at rest. Training jobs run with credentials scoped to that specific job, so one job cannot read another customer's data. Access to production systems is limited to the engineers who need it. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly.
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will also email account holders before the change takes effect.
